Dubbed our ‘Pinky Promise, we at Pink Storage have introduced a customer charter: an added part to our normal terms and conditions to make clear our commitment to storers at all of our 22 (and growing in number) container storage sites.

If you're not familiar with the expression, a 'pinky promise' is a promise made by intertwining the 'pinky fingers' (little fingers) of two people. It's intended as a more sincere and binding promise than a regular spoken one, indicating a strong commitment. Joining together two 'pinkies' is symbolic. It's a gesture that signals an intention to be bound to keep it.

This simple, easy system delivers access to your storage unit, every day of the week.

(We do, incidentally, close for a few hours in the very late night/early morning period. Data across the self storage industry has shown that these hours are the most likely to experience any security breaches, so even this simple act is designed for your security. We can, of course, arrange out of hours contact if required, but this is rarely needed, and the apparent limitation is well worth the extra security that it delivers.)

Duties of Storers

The Spanish have a concept of ‘Rights and Duties’ – for every right you have, there’s a corresponding duty. Considering Other Storers' Convenience and Safety

Our terms and conditions of storage include not storing things that could put other storers at risk, including flammable materials/ liquids, weapons, chemicals or toxic waste – in short things that could put others at risk; not storing anything illegal or any live animals;  and generally thinking about others, like  avoiding anything really smelly and keeping noise to reasonable levels.

Keep the communal areas clean, safe and accessible

Storers should follow site rules to help us keep the site clean, safe and accessible for both them and for other storers. That might include things like disposing of rubbish safely and off site, not blocking routes into the site etc – common sense really.
